Super Bowl 2013 in New Orleans Beyonce Knowles |
Beyonce
Knowles made an amazing show at the brake of the Super Bowl 2013 in New
Orleans, where Baltimore Ravens won the title at the National Football League
(NFL) of the USA.
The diva didn’t disappoint her fans this time and sung
live, after receiving so many critics for singing the national anthem of USA on
playback at the assumption of office by the
president Barack Obama.
Beyonce made an electrifying
show with a vast dance entourage, great
light show and a bunch of
hits, in that count End of Time, Crazy In Love, Halo and Baby Boy.
At
the end of the show Beyonce was joined by the rest of Destiny’s Child – Kelly
Rowland and Michelle Williams, who climbed on stage. The three of them sung
together some Destiny’s Child’s hits, such as Single Ladies, Bootylicious and
Independent Woman.
The 15-minute show was accepted pretty well by the
public of the stadium, where minutes after Beyonce took offstage, the lights
went down. Perhaps the marvelous show of the R&B diva had something to do
with it, but this still remains a mystery.
Before
the beginning of the match between Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers two
more songs were performed – one by Jennifer Hudson and a kid choir, comprised
of students from Sandy Hook Elementary School, New Town, where the disastrous
shooting from Dec 14, 2012 took place, when 20 children and 6 adults were
killed. The other song was performed by Alicia Keys.
The
performer of the notorious hit “Girl is on Fire” made her presence at the sport
event memorable, through her sensual performance of “The Star Spangled Banner”,
which she sung under her own accompaniment, played on a silver grand piano.
She was the second most commented music star at
Twitter during the Super Bowl, right after Beyonce, whose name was mentioned in
over 250 000 messages.
